Many people bang on about Arsenals unbeaten season in 03/04 and once it happened we also stepped back and applauded it as if we will never see it again but fast forward 11 seasons and now Wythenshawe Town of the Chesire League have something even more memorable played 39 won 39 4 trophies including the league and three cups they were entered in and promotion.
Ben Brooks was probably the top scorer in the whole of the footballing world with a staggering 51 goals and while they beat Moore United 7-1 last Saturday there big wins didn't stop there they even had an amazing 9-0 win away at Grapenhall and 8-0 at home to West Didsbury & Chorlton reserves. They was all in front of a handful of people in fact there highest attendance all season while high at level of football seems distant in that area were 117 turned up against Kartel Sports.
The times changed in a matter of months as in 13/14 they'd won once all season it seems Wythenshawe Town are a team on the up and want to progress up the pyramid and don't want the feeling of losing anytime soon we wish the club all the best in future and who knows non league TV may turn up at a game soon but we don't want to be a bad omen and they end up losing!
